Communal Areas

The community room is situated in Albany House and all residents have access to this room. The residents hold regular get togethers here including Bingo, coffee mornings, art groups, keep fit, quiz evenings and much more. Outings are also arranged from time to time.

All residents are invited to join as much or as little as they want. There is also a library within this room from which residents can borrow books.

There is a Residents Association who will arrange these activities along with the Managers help. all suggestions will be considered for social events.

A list of social events is printed in the residents' newsletter, which is delivered to each door at the beginning of every month. There is a visiting hairdresser and a visiting mobile greengrocer, and some pharmacists will deliver prescribed medicines.

LAUNDRY

A laundry is provided in each building and available free of charge to all residents. The Manager is on hand to show residents how to use the machines.

Gorely and Battle of Britain laundries are open from 8.30 am - 5pm daily.

Albany House is open 24 hours a day, but consideration is requested to be given to other residents at all times.

DISABLED SHOWER

The use of a disabled shower is for ALL residents, who through health and mobility problems need to use it. The shower is situated on level one of Albany House.

GUEST ROOM

A guest room may be available for a relative or friend visiting for a short period. A small charge is made for this service.

We have one studio guest flat.

All we ask is that you let the Manager know in advance should you require to use it.
